Framed Insects & Bones

My art pieces are generally very fragile and should be treated as such. Please keep items from Olive Blue away from children and pets to avoid any accidents.

Your oddity frames and jars should theoretically stay as they are - forever! Insects have exoskeletons that prevent them from decaying or molding and the bones are perfectly cleaned and sterilized.

Just like anything, its best to keep this type of art out of direct sunlight for long periods of time (normal sunshine through the day is okay) - but don't keep them in a room thats too humid! The frames are not airtight and exposure to high humidity over long periods of time could affect the quality of your specimen.

Please dust framed insects frequently as dust will accumulate on the glass and black frames.

 

Resin

Resin is a relatively soft plastic material so scratches and scrapes are to be expected if you have a keychain or something like that which gets a lot of use.

Scratches can be fixed, message me for details if you're having this issue with normal wear and tear!

Keep your resin items away from chemicals like cleaning products or alcohol. NO CHEMICALS should be used on resin except mild soap and water if you need a deep clean.

I am not responsible for ruined pieces, but please always message me if you need help with something.

If you pay for shipping both ways, I will re-gloss any keychain/necklace charm or earrings for free, even if it's from another artist. I will also replace necklace cords if yours happens to break, or I can mail you one as well.

To keep resin jewelry in best condition:

- Remove when you sleep
- Remove when you shower/bathe/swim
- Remove if you're gonna work out/sweat
- Remove when you're putting on lotions/strong perfumes
- Do not leave your resin pieces submerged in water.
- Do not leave your resin pieces out sitting out in direct sunlight for long periods of time. It's unlikely, but some resin or plants/flowers inside can discolor if exposed to excessive sunlight. Items are fine to wear daily in the sun.
- Do not use any chemicals or alcohol to clean your resin products as it breaks down the resin and will ruin your art piece.

 

BLUNTERFLY™ DISCLAIMER

I cant believe I have to say this but:

Olive Blue Blunterflies are made with a real blunt with real marijuana sticking out. THEY ARE NOT SMOKEABLE. They are real blunt wraps stuffed with rolled-up paper towel, with real weed on top that is mixed with glue, and then glued shut.

I made Blunterflies to be a cute, whimsical display mixed with my two fav things..... but I hear wayyyy too many "break glass in case of emergency" jokes lmfao.

I even had someone ask me once "if I recommend people break the glass and smoke the blunt".............. It's funny, I get it. But, no, ABSOLUTELY NOT.

If any of you are mad enough to destroy a unique piece of art that costs $60+ just for a some weed?????????????
